A Basingstoke care home has been praised for its "safe and effective" service.
St Thomas’s Care Home, in St Thomas Close, was rated 'Good' overall in a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
The CQC carried out its inspection on September 2 and 3, and rated the home, run by Barchester Healthcare, as 'Good' for being safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
The report, published on October 8, said: "Leadership within the service was open, approachable and visible.
"People, relatives and staff had confidence in the management of the service."

It also said: "Relatives spoke positively regarding all aspects of care and support staff provided.
"They said the staff team were kind, experienced and knew how to provide care and support in ways people preferred."
In celebration of the rating, each team member was presented with a £100 gift voucher to thank them for their hard work.
Cosmin Tiriteu, operational manager at St Thomas’s, said: "We are delighted that St Thomas’s was rated ‘Good’ overall following the CQC’s most recent inspection.
"The team at St Thomas’s always strive to provide the best possible quality care for everyone who lives at the home."
St Thomas Care Home, run by Barchester Healthcare, provides dementia care for 72 residents, from respite care to long-term stays.
