A MAN has been charged with robbery after an electric scooter was stolen from a teenager in the town centre.
The incident happened on Church Street on August 15, when a man stole an e-scooter from a teenage boy.
Following an investigation, Terrell Taylor-Swhyer, 21, of Taverner Close was arrested and charged with robbery.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court on Saturday, October 12.

Taylor-Swhyer was bailed with conditions and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, November 13.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Officers investigating a report of robbery in Basingstoke have charged a man.
"We were called to a report that an electric scooter had been stolen from a teenage boy on Church Street on 15 August.
"Officers launched an investigation and arrested a man. Terrell Taylor-Swhyer, 21, of Taverner Close, Basingstoke, has been charged with robbery.
"He appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court on Saturday 12 October.
"Taylor-Swhyer was bailed with conditions and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 13 November."
