A TEENAGER has been arrested after a moped was stolen from a Hampshire town.
Officers were called at 7.37pm on Friday, October 11, to a report that a Honda WW had been stolen on Short Street.
Police tracked the moped to a green area near Cassino Close. Officers attended the scene and arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
He was released under investigation whilst Hampshire Constabulary carries out further enquiries.

The moped has been reunited with its owner.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Our officers will continue to work hard to deter and prevent these thefts, as well as catch those suspected of stealing motorbikes and mopeds. We want to ensure your property stays yours.
"Just one of the ways we can do this is by sharing important crime prevention advice, including top tips which can make life harder for criminals and ensure they don’t get an easy ride."
They urged residents to follow advice to protect their bikes, advising them to use a lock and chain to secure their vehicles, as well as removing the keys and fitting an alarm.
The spokesperson added that residents should consider fitting a tracking system, securing and marking their bike, keeping their bike in a shed or garage and keeping it covered.
