DRIVERS in and around Basingstoke and Deane will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M3, from 8pm September 30 to 6am October 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 7 to junction 6, carriageway closure for resurfacing work.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A34, from 8.30pm October 14 to 6am October 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Three Maids Hill to Bullington, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M3, from 8pm October 16 to 6am October 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 6 to 7, Lane closure for maintenance work.
• A303, from 9pm October 22 to 6am October 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 7, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
