A bestselling author and former doctor is set to perform in Basingstoke.
Adam Kay, known for his literary and TV successes, is bringing his new show to The Anvil on Thursday, November 21, following a record-breaking run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
His first book, This is Going to Hurt, sold three million copies and inspired a multi-BAFTA-winning BBC series.
His follow-up, Undoctored, continues to share his unique experiences in the medical field, mixing humour with poignant moments.

The show also includes Kay's infamous 'degloving' story, which has become a staple in his performances, with audiences reportedly asking for refunds if they do not hear it.
Kay's work, both in print and on stage, is noted for its ability to resonate with people, offering a glimpse into the realities of life on the wards, as well as the challenges faced off them.
His shows, packed with his signature blend of wit and insight, are a testament to his skill as a storyteller, making the mundane extraordinary.
However, due to the nature of his stories and the medical themes explored, the show is recommended for those aged 16 and over.
Tickets for the event are priced at £31.50 and £30, which includes a £4 booking fee.
They can be purchased by contacting the Anvil Arts box office at 01256 844244 or visiting anvilarts.org.uk/events/adam-kay.
