Two men have been charged with theft following an incident in Hook.
Police received a report that a woman in her 80s had her purse stolen in Sainsbury’s in Hook on Thursday, October 3.
Officers launched an investigation and carried out a number of enquiries. Two men were identified and arrested by Derbyshire Constabulary officers in Derbyshire on Sunday, October 13.
Forin Tudorache, 35, and Doinel Chisim, 50, both of Shakespeare Road, Bentley, Doncaster, have since been charged with theft.
They appeared at South Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 16.
