The Watercress Line is set to sparkle this festive season with the return of the popular Steam Illuminations event.
Running from November 29, 2024, to January 4, 2025, the event will feature a new Snowlight Cascade for added winter magic.
The brightly lit steam train will transport passengers along the historic railway route, surrounded by twinkling coloured lights and a cascade of snowfall.
Rebecca Dalley, CEO of the Watercress Line, said: "The Steam Illuminations has become a much-loved tradition, combining the beauty of steam locomotives with cutting-edge lighting technology.

"This year, visitors will be treated to an even more dazzling display with the introduction of the Snowlight Cascade.
"As the train glides through the countryside, passengers will experience a delightful snowfall effect, adding a whole new level of wonder."
The event is suitable for friends, families, couples, and corporate gatherings, with a 'sound to light' show in every carriage, synchronised with passengers' LED wristbands.
The interactive experience, hosted by the 'Voiceover Man', of Britain's Got Talent and X-Factor fame, will include music, jokes, and the FlashyOke singalong game.
Ms Dalley added: "Steam Illuminations often sells out quickly, so please book your tickets online as soon as possible to avoid disappointment."
