A HOUSE in Oakridge has been closed by police following reports of drug activity and anti-social behaviour, after officers found a crossbow and knife at the address.
The house, in Pear Tree Way, was closed after officers from Basingstoke’s Priority Crime Team secured a partial closure order from Basingstoke Magistrates' Court.
Police presented evidence of anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity at the address to the court.

The closure order means that no one other than those authorised on the court order will be allowed to enter or remain at the address for the next three months.
If they do, they will be committing a criminal offence and can be arrested.
The order was obtained following partnership work with officers, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Vivid housing association.
The closure order comes after three people were arrested on suspicion of Class A drugs supply offences following a warrant at the address on Monday, September 16.
Suspected Class A drugs, mobile phones, a crossbow and a knife were seized by officers.
A 46-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.
The 46-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.

“We would like to thank the community for their help and patience while we gathered evidence to secure this order.
“Our officers will continue to do everything they can to help prevent anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity in Basingstoke and Deane.”
