Planning permission has been granted for a new signage and branding updates at the Hollywood Bowl complex at Basingstoke Leisure Park on Worting Road.

The approval will see the installation of new illuminated branding to replace the existing signage at the popular ten-pin bowling venue.

The approved proposal involves the replacement of all current Hollywood Bowl signs with modern, internally illuminated branding, to be installed in the same locations as the previous signage.

The updated signage will include a combination of new Hollywood Bowl logos, text, and decorative elements, all designed to enhance the visibility and appeal of the facility.

The Hollywood Bowl complex, part of the larger Basingstoke Leisure Park, is a key entertainment destination in town.

According to the planning application, the signage update is expected to refresh the venue’s image and improve its visibility, especially for visitors using the shared parking facilities.

No objections were raised during the consultation process.

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council noted that the new signage meets safety and aesthetic standards and the illumination levels comply with local guidelines and do not cause excessive light pollution.
