A NEW toy shop will open its door in Festival Place this weekend, just in time for Haloween half-term.
National toy retailer, Toytown, will open its 31st store in Basingstoke's Festival Place on Saturday, October 26, in the former H&M Kids unit, on the lower floor near other popular children's brands such as Build-a-Bear Workshop and Game.
Stocking one of the widest ranges of toys on the high street, the award-winning toy giant is week inviting families to join in the opening day excitement at the town's flagship shopping centre with competitions, giveaways and lots of family fun.
One of the largest independent toy retailers in the UK and Ireland, Toytown is known for its vast variety of treats for children and the growing ‘kidult’ market.

Sharon Barbour, marketing manager at Toytown, said: "We’re really excited to be coming to Festival Place.
"Basingstoke is a new area for us and we’ve already had such a warm welcome from everyone at Festival Place.

"We can’t wait to meet all our new customers."
Festival Place centre director, Vicky Hickson, said: "We’re thrilled that Toytown will be joining us.
"We know it’s going to be extremely popular with our shoppers, especially with Christmas just around the corner, and I’m sure the opening day will be all kinds of spooky fun."
Toytown is the latest brand to join Festival Place after independent café Boswells opened last week and it has recently been announced that Superbowl UK and Hans Buffet will open next year, while a date is yet to be announced for the new Heavenly Desserts shop.
