A celebrated orchestra is set to bring Enya's Watermark album to life in Basingstoke.
The Fulltone Orchestra will stage a live performance of the bestselling artist's music in The Anvil on November 7.
The Fulltone Orchestra, alongside the female voices of Cantiamo, will perform Enya's album in a series of live performances.
This is a rare opportunity for music lovers to experience the beauty of Enya's work, performed by a 65-piece orchestra and singers.
Enya's music, known for its ethereal sound, has sold more than eight million copies since its release in 1988.
The performance by the Fulltone Orchestra, created and led by musical director Anthony Brown, and Cantiamo Choir, is arranged by pianist and composer Dominic Irving.
It will take the audience back to the late 1980s, alongside other hits such as Riverdance, Enigma, Clannad and Karl Jenkins.
The choir features Welsh-born vocalist Amelia Jones, known for her crystal-clear tone and expressive vocal delivery.
The evening will also include the smash hit Lily Was Here, made famous by saxophonist Candy Dulfer and will be played by sax player, Vicki Watson.
Fulltone Orchestra's artistic director, Jemma Brown, said: "We're absolutely delighted to be able to bring this much-loved music to audiences across the South this autumn.
"Watermark catapulted Enya to international fame, with the Number One hit 'Orinoco Flow' sure to be a highlight of our performance.
"There's something incredibly special about the sound created by a full orchestra alongside the female voices of Cantiamo, and audiences can expect an exciting evening of music on a big scale."
The Fulltone Orchestra and Cantiamo Choir will perform Enya’s Watermark album at The Anvil, Basingstoke on November 7, with further performances at Bath Forum on November 5 and Cheltenham Town Hall on November 5.
Tickets are available from all venues or at fto.org.uk/enya.
Amelia Jones regularly sings as a solo recitalist, chamber singer, and chorister.
A recent recital in Bristol Cathedral titled Tales that Transcend offered an eclectic programme curated by Amelia - including Fauré, jazz standards, Radiohead, contemporary Australian art song, Britten, and well-loved tunes from video games and anime.
Each piece flowed into the next connected by a common thread.
Amelia has performed in many concerts with The Fitzhardinge Consort and has appeared as a soloist with the English Symphony Orchestra, Bristol Ensemble and Southbank Sinfonia.
