As the days get shorter and colder, a Sunday roast is a must-have during the weekend.
Thankfully, we have some brilliant pubs that serve up cracking roast potatoes and tender meat, which means we can enjoy a good meal without any of the washing up.
If you're struggling to choose where to go, the lifestyle magazine Muddy Stilletos has rounded up its top 50 picks to find England's best roast.

Tucked away in the Hampshire countryside, and just 20 minutes from Basingstoke, is The Mutton. Which, according to Muddly Stilletos, has one of the best roasts in the country.
Muddy Stilletos says: "This award-winning gastro on the fringe of Hazeley Heath Nature reserve in North Hampshire was crowned ‘Pub of the Year’ in the National Pub & Bar Awards 2024 and Best Destination Pub in the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Muddy Awards.
"Hungry diners come from far and wide for well-plated Sunday roasts such as beef rump and leg of lamb with seasonal veggies, crunchy Yorkshire puds and roasties. Pair with a cask ales, craft beers or a glass or two from the carefully curated international wine list featuring tasty organic and biodynamic numbers."
The Mutton was listed alongside The Cart & Horses in Kings Worthy, Winchester, and The Thomas Lord in West Meon.
