It is October which means the days are becoming colder and the nights a lot spookier. 

At the end of the month, many of us will be celebrating Halloween, whether that's carving pumpkins, dressing up or enjoying a horror film. 

To celebrate the spooky month, we asked our Camera Club members to submit photos for the theme 'Spooky Season'. 

From pets to eerie woodland walks and spider webs, the Basingstoke Gazette Camera Club members got creative with their submissions this month. 

It's always tricky to pick just 14 photographs at the end of the month, but all of these are spooky in their own way...
