A popular children's theatre production is set to return to Basingstoke.
Tall Stories' adaptation of The Gruffalo will be performed at The Haymarket on November 20 and 21.
The show is based on the picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and features the character Mouse on an adventure in the woods.
The story follows Mouse searching for hazelnuts and encountering various woodland creatures, including Fox, Owl, and Snake.
The plot revolves around Mouse's tale of the Gruffalo, a creature which may save Mouse from becoming dinner for the hungry animals.
The production, celebrating the book's 25th anniversary, offers songs and entertainment for children and adults.
The show is suitable for children aged three and over, with a running time of just under an hour and no interval.
Tickets are priced at £19.50 for adults and £17.50 for under-16s, which includes a £4 booking fee.
They can be purchased by calling the Anvil Arts box office on 01256 844244 or visiting the Anvil Arts website.
The Gruffalo show has toured both the UK and internationally, appealing to families with its blend of music, humour, and storytelling, and is expected to draw large crowds back to The Haymarket.
