REVISED plans for a large two-storey extension to a care home have been given the green light.
Cherry Blossom Manor, in German Road, Bramley initially sought permission for the erection of a two-storey extension to the existing care home, plus a garden pavilion and five additional parking spaces, and was approved in July 2024.
Since then, a revised plan was submitted by Barchester Healthcare Ltd, who run the care home, seeking a slightly smaller extension.
The amended proposal would not alter the number of rooms but would simply reduce the footprint of the approved extension.

The site comprises a two-storey property, currently providing care for up to 77 residents, a large garden area to the courtyard and rear as well as a large car parking area to the east and west of the site.
The revised extension would measure approximately 14.2m in width with a depth of 23.3m and a height of 7.7m to the ridge and 5m to the eaves.
The garden pavilion building remains unchanged.
This would match that of the existing building in terms of ridge and eaves height as well as design, the proposed materials would also match those of the existing property.

The proposed garden pavilion as approved would measure approximately 7 metres in width with a depth of 4.5m and a height of 2.5m.
The materials of the pavilion would be felt flat roof, black UPVC downpipes and guttering, cedral external cladding, brick plinth to match main home and anthracite UPVC doors and windows.
An additional five parking spaces will also be created to serve the additional rooms within the care home.
Maxta Thomas, Bramley Parish Council clerk, said: "I can confirm that Bramley Parish Council has met to consider the above planning application, and has no objection."
Permission for the changes was granted on October 8, with a report from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council's case officer Jessica Sullivan, stating that the application should be approved subject to conditions.
