A festive play is set to bring cheer to Basingstoke.
The Haymarket will host The Owl Who Came for Christmas, inspired by a true story, this December.
The show, based on a book by John Hay and Garry Parsons, is suitable for anyone over the age of one and will run from Tuesday, December 3, to Sunday, December 8.
Audiences will follow Rosie the Owl on her adventures after she is discovered nestled in a family's Christmas tree.
The story, which celebrates love and kindness, will be brought to life with creative puppetry, colourful costumes, and detailed sets.
Rosie's human friends will help her return to her forest home.
The show promises to transport viewers to the heart of the woodland, with plenty of songs and interactive fun.
Tickets are £19, with under 16s at £17, including a £4 booking fee.
A relaxed performance is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, at 1.30pm, priced at £10, which also includes the booking fee.
To book, call the box office on 01256 844244.
