AN INCREDIBLE amount of money was raised by brave individuals who participated in St. Michael's Hospice's fire walk.
Fundraisers conquered the thrilling fire walk at St. Michael's Hospice on Friday, October 25, stepping barefoot onto the hot coals in order to raise money for the cause.
An incredible £10,000 was raised by more than 35 participants who took part.
The crowd at the event were treated to firey entertainment, with fire juggling, fire dancing and even fire breathing.

The courageous fire walkers took turns to walk across hot coals to show their dedication to the Hospice, embracing one another once they finished – and some walkers even chose to do the walk twice.
Together, the daring fire walkers raised more than £10,000 in vital funds for St. Michael’s Hospice, helping families living with a life-limiting illness.
Laura Toop, events manager at the Hospice, said: "It is one of our most challenging events in our calendar, and our fundraisers proved their courage and raised vital funds for the Hospice."
St. Michael’s Hospice provides care for free but receives only 16 per cent statutory funding to run its services.
This means the charity needs to raise £15,000 a day to care for people across North Hampshire who have life-limiting illnesses and need end-of-life care, or bereavement support.
