Basingstoke will be illuminated for Diwali celebrations this week.
Kala The Arts is hosting its fourth Diwali programme, inviting people of all ages and communities to celebrate the Hindu Festival of Lights.
The free Light It Up 24 event takes place on Friday, November 8, beginning with Bollywood music in Market Place at 4pm.
At 6pm, a light parade featuring giant puppets, musicians, performers and more than 100 decorated lanterns will start at the Top of Town.

The parade will conclude at the amphitheatre outside the Vue at Festival Place at 6.45pm.
Attendees can enjoy a free show of South Asian dance and music by national, local and community groups, including FatBoyz and Kala The Arts' professional artists.
