BURGLARS have stolen a number of items including cigarettes from a Morrisons convenience store in Basingstoke.
At around 2.50am this morning, Wednesday, November 6, burglars entered Morrisons Daily in Elmwood Road, Winklebury and stole a number of items including cigarettes and tobacco products.
Police attended the scene and an investigation has been launched.
A spokesperson for Hampshir Constabulary said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a burglary in Basingstoke.

"Officers were called this morning (6 November) to a report that Morrisons on Elmwood Parade had been accessed at around 2.50am.
"A number of items, including cigarettes and tobacco products, were stolen from inside the building.
"Officers have attended the scene and an investigation has been launched.
"We would like to hear from anyone who may have information which may help our investigation.
"Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness any suspicious behaviour? Do you have any dashcam footage or CCTV images which may help?
