FIVE finalists from Basingstoke have been announced for the 2024 Tourism South East Beautiful South Tourism Awards.
These awards celebrate excellence within the tourism sector.
A total of 75 finalists from tourism and hospitality businesses in South East England have been announced, with the competitors having to wait until Tuesday, December 10 to find out if they will win Gold, Silver or Bronze awards. Additionally, 16 businesses have rewarded with Commended status.
The finalists from Basingstoke are:
- Oakley Hall Hotel, Basingstoke (Large hotel of the year, sponsored by Booking.com, and Wedding venue of the year)
- Glasshouse Restaurant (Restaurant of the year, sponsored by Stopham Vineyard)
- Basingstoke Festival 2024 – Basingstoke and Dean Borough Council (Tourism event / festival of the year)

Army Flying Museum, Stockbridge (Small visitor attraction of the year)

Whitchurch Silk Mill, Whitchurch (Small visitor attraction of the year, and cafe/tearoom of the year)
The winners will be announced by Toby Anstis at an awards ceremony at the Grand Brighton.
