AN AWARD-winning street food business has re-opened its doors in Festival Place after a 'rollercoaster' journey.
Festival Street Kitchen burst onto the scene in October 2016 and has since become a staple in the town.
The business was situated in the food court just outside Festival Place before it expanded to a unit inside the shopping centre in March of this year following a four-month refit.

However, as previously reported, the restaurant unexpectedly shut its doors due to 'matters out of our control'.
Now, Festival Street Kitchen, owned by husband and wife duo Alex and Danielle Menicou, has re-opened in the shopping centre on Friday, November 8, two months after the business' closure.
The business described the ordeal as a 'rollercoaster' but said they 'couldn't wait to get cooking again'.
The unit's re-opening was originally scheduled for Thursday, November 7, however, the pair said they were forced to push back the date due to 'technical glitches and illnesses'.
On the menu are dishes using fresh local produce to create staples from a range of cuisines including Spanish Paella and Jamaican Jerk Chicken.
Alex and Danielle were inspired to serve up the recipes after travelling the world, with 38 big-pan dishes rotated on a regular basis available for customers to enjoy.
In a Facebook post, Alex and Danielle said the support has been incredible, adding: "Thank you to everyone for all your support and wonderful comments, it's been humbling."
