BASINGSTOKE was illuminated for Diwali celebrations last night.
Kala The Arts hosted its fourth Diwali programme, inviting people of all ages and communities to celebrate the Hindu Festival of Lights.
The free Light It Up 24 event took place on Friday, November 8, beginning with Bollywood music in Market Place at 4pm.
At 6pm, a light parade featuring giant puppets, musicians, performers and more than 100 decorated lanterns started at the Top of Town.

READ MORE:The parade then marched through the town, concluding at the amphitheatre outside the Vue at Festival Place at 6.45pm.
Attendees were able to enjoy a free show of South Asian dance and music by national, local and community groups, including FatBoyz and Kala The Arts' professional artists.
