HUNDREDS of people from across Basingstoke came together to pay their respects to the fallen on Remembrance Day.
Many services and parades took place across the borough on Sunday, November 10, as it is the closest to Armistice Day on Monday, November 11.

The event began with a parade, led by the RBL Standard Bearer, from Market Place, through the Top of the Town to the War Memorial.
There was then the customary two minutes silence outside the Civic Offices as wreaths were laid.
