A new state-of-the-art X-ray machine has been unveiled at Alton Community Hospital.
The X-ray machine, launched by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is expected to significantly improve the hospital's diagnostic capabilities.
The trust said it will provide faster and more accurate results for patients in the community.
The official unveiling, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, was attended by East Hampshire MP Damian Hinds, long-serving radiographer Yvonne Attwell and Alex Whitfield, chief executive of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The new X-ray equipment is part of the trust's ongoing efforts to enhance patient care by streamlining diagnostic processes.
The trust said the machine will contribute to faster treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care as quickly as possible.
Ms Attwell, who has 50 years of experience in the radiography profession, said: "This new X-ray machine is a game-changer for both our team and the patients we serve.
"It will enable us to provide more precise imaging, leading to quicker diagnoses and ultimately, better outcomes for our patients.
"While I had been considering retirement, the arrival of this innovative technology reminded me that I’m not ready to step away just yet.
"It’s never too late to embrace new advancements and continue learning new skills and ways of working."

This sentiment was echoed by Ms Whitfield, who said: "We are delighted to be able to offer this cutting-edge technology to our patients at Alton Community Hospital.
"I’m so pleased that this new X-ray machine has rekindled Yvonne's enthusiasm for her vital work in radiology.
"It is a testament to how advancements in technology can not only enhance our services but also motivate and empower our dedicated staff."
The unveiling of the X-ray machine is part of a wider push by the trust to continually improve the standard of care provided to patients.
The trust aims to ensure that their staff have access to the latest technologies, enabling them to deliver the best possible care to their patients.
