A theatre company is set to bring a "heart-warming Christmassy tale" to Basingstoke.
Chapterhouse Theatre Company will perform their adaptation of A Christmas Carol at The Haymarket on December 14 and 15.
The stage production follows Ebenezer Scrooge's journey through his past, present and future, as he learns the true meaning of Christmas.
The show will feature musical sequences and authentic period costumes.

Richard Main, producer at Chapterhouse, said: "Christmas time is the most wonderful, warming and treasured time of the year. A time of hope and indeed redemption.
"A Christmas Carol gives us all the promise of renewal of life in the depths of the frozen Yuletide.
"We are so thrilled to follow Scrooge’s journey alongside our audiences - hopefully people will go away with a warm, wintery glow."
The show is part of a UK-wide tour, with performances at Bacon Theatre in Cheltenham, Exmouth Pavilion, Stirling Castle and Burnley Mechanics Theatre on Christmas Eve.
Tickets for The Haymarket show can be bought from anvilarts.org.uk/events/a-christmas-carol.
The Peterborough Telegraph described the show as "wonderfully emotive and an absolute joy," while The Stage said: "Dickens’ tale has lost none of its punch…fusing a contemporary feel with the author’s poetic text."
