A Christmas show bringing immersive and magical storytelling is returning to Basingstoke.
The Proteus Creation Space will host The Christmas Elf Inspector, created by Scratch Built Productions, from December 7 to December 24.
The show invites audiences to follow the story through themed rooms, interacting with characters and engaging in activities.
The production begins at Christmas HQ, where Father Christmas' friend The Gingerbread Man is visiting, the halls are decked, the presents are almost wrapped and the reindeer are fit as a fiddle.

The story unfolds with an audit from the Elf and Safety Inspector.
The show is designed to be a "first theatre" experience for children, with interactive elements encouraging them to explore and play.
This year, performances will be held at 4.30pm and 6.30pm on weekdays to accommodate school holidays, and at 11am, 2pm, and 4pm on weekends.
Tickets are priced at £10 plus a booking fee, with under-12 months attending for free.
It is aimed at children aged 0 to eight, but siblings and family members are welcome to join.
The show runs for 45 to 50 minutes.
Tickets can be purchased from proteustheatre.com.
The show promises a mix of storytelling, handcrafted set design, puppetry, music and sensory elements.
