Across the Atlantic, the people of the USA have signalled their aspiration to see their country embark upon a new voyage.

Their sense of hope and patriotism shines a gigantic light in our depressing and dangerous world.

If only our lacklustre Administration here could try and lift our collective hearts as we approach the magic time of Christmas.

I fear, however, that I may be clutching at straws, given that most of the Cabinet lack proper life experience, but are happy to denigrate the President publicly and noisily.

Shame on them.

Is there anyone out there who could promise to Make Britain Great Again?
