THE DRIVER of a car has been left with life-threatening injuries after he crashed into a tree on Kingsclere Road.
Police were called just after midnight on Friday, November 15 to a report of a collision on the A339 Kingsclere Road between Basingstoke and Wolverton.
A silver Peugeot 206 left the road and collided with a tree, Hampshire Constabulary confirmed.

The driver, a man in his 60s from Newbury, Berkshire, sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.
A spokesperson for the police force said they are appealing for witnesses.
They added: "We would like to speak to anyone who saw a vehicle matching this description in the area on that night.
"Do you have dash cam, doorbell or CCTV footage that could assist our investigation?
