A 36-year-old man has appeared in court after being charged with several offences related to incidents in Basingstoke and Andover.
Michael O’Leary, of Westbrook Way, Southampton, faces charges of assault causing actual bodily harm, criminal damage, possession of a knife in a public place, possessing criminal property, and possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
It comes after officers received reports that a woman had been assaulted, a car had been damaged and a man had been seen with a knife on Blue Hut Way in Basingstoke on October 4.
Subsequently, on November 13, officers conducting a search on Micheldever Road, Andover, discovered suspected Class A and Class B drugs along with £240 in cash.
O’Leary was arrested and later charged. He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court yesterday (18 November) and was remanded into custody.
He is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, December 18.
