A 70-BEDROOM care home will be built in Fleet by 2027 after the development site was sold to a care provider.
Developer Frontier Estates Limited asked Hart District Council for permission in November 2023 to build the facility in Cove Road.
The care home will include en-suite wet rooms for all bedrooms as well as amenities including a cafe, cinema, hair and beauty salon, lounge and dining rooms, balcony and terrace access and landscaped gardens.

Now, the development has taken another step forward as care provider, Oakland Care, has purchased the site, with plans to complete construction by 2027.
Oakland Care's Director of Development, Richard Dooley said the group were 'delighted to acquire the site', adding: "The new home will form part of our new strategy of developing all electric-powered, net zero homes."
Jordan Rundle, Director at estate agent Christie and Co, said that the site will provide a 'much-needed service to the local community'.
He continued: "Oakland is well positioned to serve the growing requirement for market-standard beds in the area with their existing presence in the region, and we look forward to seeing the scheme come forward in the coming months.”
