Theatre lovers are in for a treat as The Proteans prepare to stage a Dickens mash-up.
Audiences can expect a humorous blend of Charles Dickens' classic tales, titled Round The Twist, penned by Brendan Murray.
The show is set to feature beloved characters from David Copperfield, Great Expectations, The Old Curiosity Shop and more.
The Proteans, the in-house community theatre group of Proteus, return after their successful summer performances of Noel Coward’s Hayfever at the Walled Garden.

In this new production, character Oliver Nicklefield embarks on a journey in search of love, family, and 'glowing testimonials'.
His travels lead him to encounter a variety of characters, including the reclusive Miss Haversack and her beautiful ward Dorabella, the eccentric acting troupe of Mr and Mrs Crumbles, and his old school friend turned lawyer Obadiah Snoop.
His adventures take him from Basingstoke to Australia via London.
The play will run from Thursday, November 28, to Saturday, November 30, with performances starting at 7.30pm.
The Proteans have been praised for their unique approach to classic tales, with their past performance of Much Ado About Nothing earning accolades from the Basingstoke Gazette.
Tickets are available through the Proteus Creation Space website.
