PASSENGERS in Basingstoke are being warned of heavy delays on bus services due to traffic caused by Black Friday.
The annual day, which started in America to promote sales the first Friday after Thanksgiving, offers shoppers slashed prices on a wide range of products.
Falling on November 29 this year, the date sees customers flock to the high streets for bargains on electronics, clothes, food, skincare, beauty, treatments and more.

Now, bus company Stagecoach South has warned passengers across the town that they can expect delays on all services due to Black Friday causing traffic in the area.
In a post made on X, the transport company said: "There is very heavy traffic in and around Basingstoke due to Black Friday, this is causing delays on all of our services.
"Please allow more time to travel to your destinations."
