A Basingstoke primary school has collected more than 150 toys for children in need.
St Mark's CofE Primary School's School Council organised the toy collection for The Community Furniture Project, which helps families struggling to buy toys at Christmas.
The council sent a letter to parents asking for new and unwrapped gifts for children and young people up to the age of 19.
Parents then donated more than 150 toys, books, puzzles and other gifts to the project.

Headteacher Charles Applegate said: "The parents and pupils are definitely 'Agents of Change', a programme we run to help everyone see themselves as someone who can 'make the world a better place'.
"I'm so proud that the school community digs deep to help others.
"Christmas is such a challenge for so many, and this is just one way the children are making a difference to others this year."
Lauren Maggs, lead teacher of the School Council, said: "The children chose to support this charity because they want to help children who might need an extra smile.
"They've been excited to see that they are making a difference to other children in our town."
