Spicy Tadka, located in Westminster House, just outside of Festival Place, has won the award for Best Indian Restaurant in Hampshire at the prestigious Euro Asia Awards 2024.

Gagan Joshi, owner of Spicy Tadka, said he is 'absolutely overjoyed' to win the award, adding: "Our journey started in 2014 with a simple goal: to share the rich, diverse flavours of Indian food with the people of Hampshire.
"To be named the Best Indian Restaurant in the region by the Euro Asia Awards is a humbling achievement and a reflection of the hard work and passion of our incredible team.”
On the menu is a range of traditional Indian dishes, from curries including Paneer Butter Masala, King Prawn Shashlik, and Butter Chicken as well as tandoori specialities and fusion dishes that 'offer something new for every guest'.
The restaurant recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, which Gagan Joshi called a 'really great experience I can't put into words'.
Over the restaurant's ten years in the town, it has won a host of awards including winning Restaurant of the Year at the National Curry Awards in 2023 and Chef of the Year in 2024.
