The Christmas lights in Tadley were switched on by Carabosse and Princess Rose from The Anvil's pantomime, Sleeping Beauty.
The characters, played by West End stars Jenny O'Leary and Elly Jay, brought the spirit of panto to Tadley on Friday evening.
They interacted with the crowds, who cheered, booed, and shouted out, "Oh no he isn't!"

Jenny and Elly joined Tadley Parish chairman and Cllr Avril Burdett, and Kit Malthouse MP on stage to push the button as they turned on the lights.
The compere for the evening was Cllr David Leeks.
Entertaining the crowds were West Berkshire Rock Choir, Burnham Copse School Choir, and Princess Belle and The Grinch from Jolly Pop Entertainment.
