INTO April, we start with a quiz night at the church of Christ the King, in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke, on Saturday, April 4, starting at 7pm. Come with a team or just join a table on the night. There will be a snack supper. Bring your own nibbles.

ON GOOD Friday, April 10, at the Baptist Church, in Gershwin Road, Brighton Hill, Basingstoke, there will be the story of the cross at 11am with worship, the Easter story with songs and readings, finishing with informal worship and hot cross buns.

DURING the Easter period at St Michael's, Basingstoke, on April 5, at 10am, there will a Palm Procession and Parish Communion with dramatised reading of St Mark's Passion Gospel.

On Easter Sunday, April 12, there is Holy Communion at 8am with Easter Day Parish Communion at 10am followed by Evensong for Easter Day.

AREAS in Tadley and Pamber Heath being prayed for this week, commencing Sunday are Lambdens Walk, Linton Close, Ludlow Place, all in Tadley, and Ilex Close, Pamber Heath.
