Sir.–I am writing a book on National Service experiences abroad, from 1946 to 1963, and would like to hear from National Service veterans of all ranks, from the Army, RAF and Royal Navy, who have unusual, or humorous military anecdotes to share.
I am particularly interested in the experiences of those national servicemen who served in Australia, the Middle East and Far East, North Africa, Jamaica and South America. I already have enough material from England, Germany and Egypt.
