A GANG attacked a teenager as he walked home in a Basingstoke street robbery.
The 18-year-old victim was in Norn Hill, South View, at 7pm on Friday, November 27, when three men approached him.
One of the gang punched and knocked him to the ground while the other two searched his pockets.
The three white men, who all wore black tracksuit tops with the hoods up, made off with a pouch of tobacco and a mobile phone.
PC Adam Knight, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was an isolated incident that happened at a time in the evening when other people may have been around.
“We want to hear from any witnesses or anyone who knows who might have been responsible for this robbery.”
