AN intruder targeted a mattress after smashing his way into a home.
Between 7am and 10pm, a house in Weir Road, Hook, was broken into by a thief who threw a plant pot through a rear window.
The offender searched a duvet and mattress in a bedroom, but nothing else was touched and nothing was taken.
The incident took place on December 4.
PC Daniel Simpson, from the Yateley Targeted Patrol Team, said: “Someone has broken into this address looking for something specific.
“The homeowner has never stored anything under his bed so does not know why he was targeted in this way.
