DETECTIVES have been searching a property in Sherborne St John in connection with a double murder probe, The Gazette can reveal.
A man was led away in handcuffs at around 4am on Sunday morning as police descended on Kiln Road.
Forensic officers have been searching the flat at Vilders Road since the early hours of Sunday.
A shirtless man described as large and broad was taken away in handcuffs.
Specialist officers, wearing gloves and masks, were seen removing items from the property in clear, plastic bags.
A resident who lives nearby said there was "a lot of noise" at around 4am yesterday.
They said it was largely a quiet and friendly area apart from issues of one or two neighbours.
A 52-year-old man remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder after a man in his 60's and a woman in her 20's were pronounced dead at Buckland Avenue yesterday morning.
