ICE skater Annabel Colenutt will be contesting the British novice crown in Sheffield in January.
The 14-year-old, who won the recent novice title at the Scottish championships, has been coached by Michael Jaye at Basingstoke since she was five.
In the recent Dumfries competition, she was first in both the short and long programmes to finish several points ahead of the second-placed skater.
Her scores were above the new novice test pass mark and she was the only one of the 23 competitors to reach that level in both programmes.
