BASINGSTOKE Town's FA Cup second round replay against Aldershot Town looks set to be a sell out after Dragons fans snapped up all 2,000 tickets available to them.
Tickets for the home section of the Camrose sold out at 1.30pm on Monday, December 11, more than 24 hours before the two north Hampshire rivals meet to see who will face Blackpool in the third round.
The capacity of the Camrose has been reduced to 3,300 for the game and Aldershot handed a total of 1,300 tickets, meaning there will be about 2,000 Town fans present.
Steve Duly, commercial manager at the club, said he expects that the visitors will also sell all of their allocation by the time the match kicks off, meaning the game will be a ticket only affair.
"It is great that we have sold all of our tickets, not only on a financial level but also for the players and the fans," Mr Duly said. "We have gained new supporters thanks to the cup run and I just hope they continue to come along and support the team."
