BASINGSTOKE professional boxer Darryl Still is back in the ring on Saturday at Southamp-ton’s Guildhall.
The 32-year-old is hoping a victory will set up a British Masters title fight next month or early next year. His last fight was back in June, when he beat Welshman Gareth Piper, his 11th pro victory in 16 fights.
Still said: “I am really up for this fight and want this one and a title shot.
“I must say a massive thanks to Dale Purdom for getting me up at 4.45am most mornings to run and also training me in the gym.”
There are 11 fights scheduled for the evening and the headline act is King Davidson against Ishmael Tetteh for the vacant WBO International light middleweight belt.
Tickets for the evening are available from Still on 07584 994624.
