JUST when we thought the wet weather had passed, it returned to force another postponement on Tuesday.
We now have the difficult task of trying to fit the game in before the end of the season. Trying to find a date that both clubs are available is proving very difficult.
In the last week we have signed two new strikers.
Nicholas Bignall has had some bad injuries in the last couple of seasons.
We will have to be patient with him and sensible with his time on the pitch. Liam Enver-Marum has also signed from Bishop’s Stortford. He has great experience. We are looking forward to seeing them both in action.
We have 30 points to play for. It is important we finish the season strongly and play the way we play best, that is with tempo and energy. It's no secret that scoring goals has been a problem this season. We hope to rectify that problem!
The next set of academy trials are in April. We are looking to recruit a number of players for our full-time course starting in September. If you are interested please check the website for details. The CFED will be expanding next season and we are entering the Premier League.
This is a great stride forward for the club and will have players pitting themselves against other academies on a weekly basis.
Trials will be held on April 23. For more information please contact Adam or Chris on 01256 327575.
