AT the time of writing we have a fully fit squad which gives us a lot of options and versatility.
During the later stages of the Bromley game we were able to make changes to the shape and personnel of the team.
This was without weakening the side on the park, so that is a real compliment to every player in the squad.
Another huge boost and positive last Saturday was the return of David Ray, who came on to help the defence see out their second clean sheet.
David has worked tirelessly throughout his time away with his injury to maintain his fitness and to return to action and that again is a huge boost to the squad.
I would like to thank Jonathan Henly for his contribution during the last three games, whilst Stuart Moore has been suspended.
Jonathan obviously played a huge part last week with his penalty save, but his overall play and calmness will leave a big impression with us and we wish him every success.
Last week also saw the club featured for the first time on Soccer AM.
As has already been said, this is a fantastic opportunity for the club to be in the limelight and to gain exposure.
It is a project Simon Hood has worked wonders with and it’s now down to everyone at the club to ensure that we make the most of this exciting season.
Finally just a quick word for the supporters that made the trips to Bath and Bromley, a big thank you.
It was great to see and hear you there in numbers and my myself and the team really do appreciate all your support!
