LAST weekend, we produced a fantastic comeback to beat a good Ebbsfleet United team and progress in the FA Cup.

After a string of fine saves from Stuart Moore kept us in the match, we scored two fantastic goals through Chris Flood and Liam Enver-Marum.

We now know that we will face Harrow Borough at home in the next round. They may be from a lower division, but they will pose problems if we allow them to play and are not 100 per cent focused on the day.

This weekend we are going to face another real test against a rejuvenated Wealdstone side. Once again, we need to be sure we are on top of our game because Wealdstone play at a high tempo and are very good at getting quality balls into the box.

I have to thank all of the supporters for the last few weeks. They have been outstanding and they deserve the results that we have been able to give them.

Home and away, the volume of support has been excellent and we as staff and players really appreciate it.

The academy lost their first league game of the season last week, going down 2-1 away at Oxford United after a disappointing second-half performance.

They went ahead in the first half, George Hallahan scoring another well-taken goal, but the level of performance dropped after the break and Oxford scored twice to win the game.

We remain fourth in the table after a good start to the season and are without a game this week, so we will be working hard on the training pitch ahead of next Wednesday’s home game against Brentford Bees.
