LONDON Irish are now five points adrift at the bottom of the Premiership after they suffered a 47-20 loss at the Leicester Tigers.
The home side opened the scoring after three minutes after Adam Thompstone and then Harry Thacker added another score, Lachlan McCaffrey and Jono Kitto added more points as Leicester led 26-3 at the break with Theo Brophy-Clews kicking Exiles only points .
After the break, Tom Croft and Jean De Villiers added to the Tigers haul, Irish replied from David Paice had Joe Trayfoot and Andrew Fenby.
Next up for Irish is an away trip to Bath on Saturday.
