LONDON Irish bowed out of the Premiership beaten 38-12 by Wasps at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
The Exiles briefly led 7-6 in this encounter, after Johnny Williams scored.
However, the home side hit back to lead 21-7 at half-time, after Thomas Young, Charles Piutau and Christian Wade all went over.
After the interval, Irish’s Alex Lewington scored, but Wasps took their try tally to six for the game as Dan Robson, Josh Bassett and Ashley Johnson all went over.
This was Irish’s final Premiership game and now they have to prepare for life in the Championship.
