MICHAEL Porter and Kai Parton-Edey both scored braces as AFC Aldermaston completed a league double at Holyport, as they won 4-1, writes Callum Eaton.
The home side were out to avenge a 5-2 loss at Aldermaston and they deserved their lead early in the first half.
Aldermaston were struggling to get into the game until some nice play saw them get the ball across the face of the goal for Porter to level things.
The Atom Men then took the lead, when a rasping left footed drive hit the top corner from Kai Parton-Edey.
Just a couple of minutes before the referee blew to end an entertaining first half, Aldermaston's top goal scorer Parton-Edey turned onto his right foot this time and found the top corner to make it 3-1.
After the break, the home side pushed forward looking for a goal, which left them open to Aldermaston counter attacks.
They had more corners and set pieces which were swung into the box, only to be mopped up by Martin King and new signing Joe Cummuskey, who had an excellent debut.
Holyport threw more men forward, but it was Aldermaston who scored as Porter scored his second of the game and fifth of the season, to complete the 4-1 win.
This week fifth placed Aldermaston are on their travel to Raynes Lane who are five places below them in the Hellenic League Division One East.
