WHITCHURCH United moved up to 18th in the Premier Division after they beat Cowes Sports 3-0.
Danny Phillips scored the opener before and then Shaun Foster scored the his first goal for the club to make it 2-0 at half-time.
Shane Sims added a third goal after the break as the Jam Boys cruised to victory.
Manager Carl Bennett has made a number of other additions to his squad with former Crystal Palace trainee from QK Southampton Ross Bourke has joining joined along with Declan McCarthy from AFC Totton and Babucarr Bojang who arrives from Alresford.
McCarthy and Bojang both played against Cowes and talking after the game, Bennett said: “I am happy with the squad we have and feel we can finish mid table.”
On Saturday, Whitchurch they travel to Portland and then on Wednesday, they entertain South Wonston Swifts in the Andover Open Cup
